Meet Chat with Aeglio: answers grounded in your business records
Ask questions across permitted Aeglio records, get exact calculations and follow the linked sources behind the answer.
A useful business answer often sits across several records. Revenue is connected to invoices and payments. Project performance depends on budgets, time, expenses and work that has not been invoiced yet. An overdue balance may also depend on reminders and the latest client activity.
Chat with Aeglio gives you a direct way to investigate those connections. Ask a concrete question in ordinary language and Aeglio can find the permitted records, follow their relationships, calculate exact results and link relevant sources back to the application.
Ask about the outcome, not the screen
You do not need to know which report or table contains the answer. Start with the business outcome you care about and include a useful period or comparison.
For example, you can ask:
- Which three clients generated the most invoiced revenue this year?
- Which active project has the most uninvoiced billable time?
- What approved expenses are still waiting for payment?
- Which overdue invoices have not received a reminder?
Chat with Aeglio can combine several steps when the question requires it. It might first rank clients by invoiced revenue, identify the leading client and then inspect that client's active projects. The final answer can explain the result while keeping the underlying records within reach.
Exact figures come from Aeglio
The language model does not receive database access and does not write its own queries. It chooses from a registered set of bounded, read-only tools. Aeglio runs those tools with the same team scope and record permissions used throughout the application.
Amounts, counts, dates and statuses come from structured Aeglio calculations. Semantic search can help locate a relevant record, but the structured record remains authoritative for exact business facts.
This distinction matters. A plausible answer is not enough when you are reviewing revenue, overdue balances or payments. If a calculation cannot be completed safely within the available bounds, Chat with Aeglio should explain the limitation or ask for a narrower question instead of silently returning an incomplete total.
Follow the records behind an answer
Relevant record titles in an answer can link directly to their source in Aeglio. You can open the invoice, expense, project, client or other record and verify the detail without retracing the assistant's investigation manually.
That makes Chat with Aeglio useful as a starting point for analysis, while the underlying application remains the source of truth. Important financial or operational decisions should still be checked against the linked records.
Your permissions remain the boundary
Chat with Aeglio can only retrieve records you are already allowed to view. Every result is team-scoped and authorized again before its contents can be included in the answer context.
The assistant is deliberately read-only. It cannot create, update, approve, send, pay or delete records. Credentials, integration secrets, private profile information and raw banking payloads are excluded from its tools.
Each conversation belongs to one user in one team. Other users cannot open it, including team administrators. If a role or record permission changes, the information available to future questions changes with it.
Choose the model that fits your team
Eligible Team workspaces can use Aeglio-managed AI credits or a supported provider connected by a team owner. The available model choices follow the team's provider configuration.
Recent messages help continue the conversation. For longer discussions, Aeglio keeps a compact continuity summary, but current business facts are retrieved again rather than preserved as stale conversational memory.
Start with one concrete question
Open Chat with Aeglio and ask about a real decision you need to make. State the subject, period and comparison clearly. Then inspect the linked records before acting on the result.
The complete Chat with Aeglio guide explains supported question areas, permissions, provider choices, conversation storage and practical ways to get stronger answers.
